## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for a **Specialist Gastroenterologist** to provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and endoscopic expertise with a patient-centered approach.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct consultations, comprehensive history-taking, and gastrointestinal examinations.
-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders.
-   Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures including **upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy**.
-   Manage conditions such as GERD, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and GI bleeding.
-   Evaluate and manage patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
-   Perform appropriate endoscopic interventions within the scope of expertise.
-   Review laboratory, imaging, endoscopy, and pathology results and formulate treatment plans.
-   Provide preventive and follow-up care for chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
-   Refer patients for surgical or multidisciplinary management when required.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **MD / MS / DNB / MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology** or a recognized equivalent specialty qualification.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology.
-   Endoscopy and colonoscopy experience is highly desirable.
-   Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-   Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
