**Job Summary**

Our leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced **Specialist Gastrointestinal Surgeon** to diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract through surgical and minimally invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in gastrointestinal surgery, laparoscopic techniques, and the management of complex abdominal and digestive system conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and abdominal surgical conditions.
-   Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
-   Manage conditions involving the stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder, and other digestive organs.
-   Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgeries where qualified.
-   Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
-   Provide comprehensive postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
-   Manage surgical complications and gastrointestinal emergencies.
-   Coordinate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient safety and care.

## Requirements

**Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MBBS or equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification.
-   Relevant Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in General Surgery or Gastrointestinal Surgery.
-   Additional fellowship or advanced specialist training in Gastrointestinal Surgery is an advantage.
-   Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
-   Strong experience in open and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgical procedures.
-   Excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and patient-management abilities.
