## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Critical Care Physician** to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in critical care management, advanced life support, mechanical ventilation, and multidisciplinary intensive care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, stabilize, and manage critically ill medical and surgical patients in the ICU.
-   Manage **sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, multi-organ failure, cardiac emergencies, and neurological emergencies**.
-   Provide advanced airway management and mechanical ventilation.
-   Manage invasive and non-invasive respiratory support.
-   Monitor and manage hemodynamic status and organ function.
-   Manage fluid, electrolyte, acid-base, nutritional, and metabolic requirements.
-   Perform critical care procedures within clinical expertise, including central venous and arterial access.
-   Interpret ABGs, ECGs, laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
-   Coordinate multidisciplinary ICU rounds and patient management.
-   Provide emergency resuscitation and critical care support when required.
-   Communicate with patients' families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, prognosis, and clinical progress.
-   Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine or a relevant specialty.**
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong ICU experience managing critically ill medical and surgical patients.
-   Excellent knowledge of mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, and advanced resuscitation.
-   Strong clinical decision-making and emergency management skills.
-   Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
