## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Consultant Plastic Surgeon** to provide advanced surgical and reconstructive care, with expertise across cosmetic, reconstructive, and aesthetic plastic surgery. The ideal candidate should have strong operative experience, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach. **Consultant Plastic Surgery** is an established UAE licensing title.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and surgical evaluations.
-   Perform **cosmetic, reconstructive, and plastic surgery procedures** within the scope of expertise.
-   Develop individualized surgical plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and desired outcomes.
-   Perform procedures such as **facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, breast surgery, body contouring, abdominoplasty, liposuction, and reconstructive procedures**, where appropriately trained.
-   Manage complex soft-tissue defects, scars, burns, trauma, and post-surgical reconstruction.
-   Provide comprehensive pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
-   Evaluate and manage surgical complications and ensure appropriate aftercare.
-   Utilize modern surgical techniques and minimally invasive approaches where appropriate.
-   Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, risks, complications, and recovery.
-   Collaborate with dermatologists, oncologists, ENT specialists, maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and patient-safety standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, research, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Plastic Surgery / Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery**, such as MS, MCh, DNB, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent.
-   Significant post-specialization experience with **Consultant-level experience**.
-   Strong experience in cosmetic, reconstructive, and/or aesthetic plastic surgery.
-   Excellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and patient-management abilities.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Surgical logbook may be required during licensing and credentialing processes.
