## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Oral & Dental Surgeon** to provide comprehensive surgical and dental care for patients with conditions affecting the teeth, mouth, and jaws. The role involves diagnosis, treatment planning, oral surgical procedures, and post-operative care. Oral Surgery includes the surgical management of pathology of the mouth and jaws and may involve patients of different age groups.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
-   Perform **complex and surgical tooth extractions**, including impacted teeth.
-   Manage oral infections, cysts, lesions, and other dentoalveolar conditions.
-   Perform minor oral surgical procedures such as **biopsies, frenectomy, alveoloplasty, soft-tissue procedures, and incision and drainage** where appropriate.
-   Manage surgical complications and provide appropriate post-operative care.
-   Evaluate dental and oral pathology using clinical examination and diagnostic imaging.
-   Review and interpret dental X-rays, panoramic radiographs, and CBCT scans.
-   Provide surgical treatment for medically complex patients within clinical expertise.
-   Assist with implant-related surgical procedures, bone grafting, and sinus-lift procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Coordinate care with orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, implantologists, and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
-   Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care.
-   Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high standards of clinical care.
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent dental degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Oral Surgery / Oral & Dental Surgery**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in oral surgical procedures and complex dental extractions.
-   Excellent clinical judgment and surgical skills.
-   Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
