## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon** to provide comprehensive surgical management of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and associated hard and soft tissues. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a recognized dental specialty under the UAE Unified PQR.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and surgically manage oral and maxillofacial conditions.
-   Perform **dentoalveolar, oral, maxillofacial, and facial surgical procedures** within the scope of expertise.
-   Manage impacted teeth, complex extractions, jaw pathology, facial trauma, cysts, tumors, and infections.
-   Perform surgical procedures involving the **jaws, facial bones, oral cavity, and soft tissues**.
-   Manage maxillofacial trauma, including facial fractures and associated injuries.
-   Perform biopsies and surgical management of oral and maxillofacial lesions.
-   Perform orthognathic and reconstructive procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Provide implant-related surgical procedures and bone grafting where within clinical privileges.
-   Review and interpret panoramic X-rays, CBCT, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations.
-   Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care and manage surgical complications.
-   Collaborate with orthodontists, prosthodontists, periodontists, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists.
-   Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and expected outcomes.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare standards.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent recognized dental degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery** such as MDS, MS, or equivalent.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
-   Excellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and patient-management abilities.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Surgical logbook may be required during the UAE licensing eligibility process.
