## Description

We are seeking a skilled **Specialist General Surgeon** to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of a broad range of general surgical conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
-   Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures.
-   Manage conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, and soft tissues.
-   Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures where appropriate.
-   Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
-   Provide postoperative care and monitor patient recovery.
-   Manage surgical emergencies and complications.
-   Perform minor surgical procedures and wound management.
-   Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
-   Counsel patients regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recovery.
-   Maintain accurate clinical and surgical documentation.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
-   MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in **General Surgery**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery.
-   Excellent surgical skills and clinical decision-making abilities.
-   Strong communication and patient-management skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
