## Description

We are seeking a skilled **Specialist Ophthalmologist** to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions and providing comprehensive ophthalmic care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and assessments.
-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and vision disorders.
-   Manage conditions affecting the cornea, retina, glaucoma, lens, and other ocular structures.
-   Perform appropriate ophthalmic procedures and minor surgical interventions.
-   Assess and manage patients requiring cataract and other ophthalmic surgical procedures.
-   Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
-   Manage ophthalmic emergencies when required.
-   Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and other medical specialists.
-   Educate patients regarding treatment options, eye health, preventive care, and follow-up.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
-   MS/MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in **Ophthalmology**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong clinical and procedural ophthalmology experience.
-   Experience in cataract and other ophthalmic procedures is an advantage.
-   Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
-   Strong communication and patient-management skills.
