## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Medical Oncologist** to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with cancer. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in systemic cancer therapies and multidisciplinary oncology care.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive oncology consultations, assessments, and cancer staging.
-   Diagnose and manage a wide range of **solid tumors and malignancies**.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans based on cancer type, stage, pathology, and patient condition.
-   Administer and monitor **chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy**.
-   Monitor treatment response, adverse effects, and therapy-related complications.
-   Review and interpret pathology, molecular testing, CT, MRI, PET-CT, and other investigations.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and palliative-care teams.
-   Provide supportive and symptom-management care throughout treatment.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and potential side effects.
-   Provide appropriate follow-up and cancer surveillance.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and comply with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, research, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Medical Oncology / Clinical Oncology**, such as MD, DM, DNB, MRCP, Arab Board, or equivalent.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in systemic cancer treatment and oncology patient management.
-   Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oncology team.
