## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Orthodontist** to provide comprehensive orthodontic assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in diagnosing malocclusions, treatment planning, fixed appliances, clear aligners, and complex orthodontic cases. Orthodontists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of dental and facial irregularities, including tooth alignment and bite problems.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive orthodontic consultations, examinations, and treatment planning.
-   Diagnose and manage **malocclusions, crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and jaw discrepancies**.
-   Develop individualized orthodontic treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic records.
-   Provide treatment using **fixed braces, ceramic braces, clear aligners, removable appliances, and functional appliances** where appropriate.
-   Manage orthodontic cases in children, adolescents, and adults.
-   Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments throughout treatment.
-   Perform orthodontic assessments using X-rays, photographs, digital scans, and dental models.
-   Manage complex cases involving impacted teeth, missing teeth, and significant skeletal discrepancies.
-   Provide appropriate retention and post-treatment follow-up.
-   Manage orthodontic emergencies and appliance-related complications.
-   Collaborate with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, pediatric dentists, periodontists, prosthodontists, and restorative dentists for multidisciplinary cases.
-   Educate patients and parents regarding treatment options, oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
-   Participate in clinical quality improvement and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent dental degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Orthodontics**, such as MDS, MSD, DClinDent, or equivalent.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in comprehensive orthodontic diagnosis and treatment.
-   Excellent treatment-planning and clinical skills.
-   Strong communication and patient-management abilities.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
