## Description

We are seeking a skilled Consultant or Specialist in Pain Medicine to join our team. This role involves the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. You will deliver expert, patient-centered care utilizing a range of medical and interventional techniques to improve patients’ quality of life.

As part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will collaborate with other specialists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will also engage in patient education and clinical research to advance the field of pain medicine.

### Responsibilities:

-   Conduct detailed evaluations and diagnostic assessments of patients with pain disorders.
-   Develop and manage individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacologic and interventional therapies.
-   Perform interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, injections, and other pain management techniques.
-   Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding pain management strategies.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
-   Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and continuing education activities.
-   Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
-   Board certification in Pain Medicine or a related specialty.
-   Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice.
-   Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Pain Medicine or related field.
-   Proficiency in interventional pain management techniques.
-   Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
-   Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advances in Pain Medicine.
