## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated **Specialist / Consultant in Emergency Medicine** to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide high-quality emergency medical care, rapidly assess and stabilize critically ill or injured patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective treatment.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic emergencies.
-   Perform rapid triage, stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency interventions.
-   Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
-   Perform emergency procedures such as airway management, intubation, central venous access, chest tube insertion, procedural sedation, and advanced cardiac life support.
-   Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and referrals to appropriate specialties.
-   Lead and participate in trauma and cardiac arrest response teams.
-   Interpret diagnostic investigations, including ECGs, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
-   Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records.
-   Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and continuing medical education (CME).
-   Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols.
-   Participate in rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
-   MD, DNB, Arab Board, MRCP, MRCEM, FCEM, FRCEM, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine.
-   **Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility.**
-   Minimum **3–5 years of post-specialization experience** in a busy Emergency Department.
-   Current certifications in **ACLS, ATLS, and PALS** (preferred).
-   Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and crisis management skills.
-   Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure emergency environment.
