## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Sports Medicine Physician** to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sports injury management and a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of **sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions**.
-   Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for athletes and active individuals.
-   Manage acute and chronic sports injuries involving muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and bones.
-   Evaluate conditions such as **sprains, strains, tendinopathies, ligament injuries, stress injuries, and overuse syndromes**.
-   Perform and interpret appropriate imaging and diagnostic investigations.
-   Perform **point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound** where appropriately trained.
-   Provide ultrasound-guided injections and other minimally invasive treatments within the scope of expertise.
-   Coordinate rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, orthopedic surgeons, and other specialists.
-   Develop injury-prevention and return-to-sport programs.
-   Assess patients for safe return to training and competitive activities.
-   Provide guidance on exercise, conditioning, nutrition, and injury prevention.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Sports Medicine / Sports & Exercise Medicine / Orthopedics / Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation** or an equivalent relevant specialty qualification.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in sports injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
-   Excellent clinical judgment and musculoskeletal examination skills.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
