## Description

Primary responsibilities will be to assist with the preparation, packaging, and management of mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lending guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of lender credit policies, serviceability assessments, and the confidence to submit loan applications to lenders. You will also liaise with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing from application through to settlement and post settlement.  
  
**Key Responsibilities**

-   Assist brokers in reviewing, preparing and submitting loan applications
-   Collect and verify necessary documentation from clients and third parties
-   Communicate with lenders to monitor application status and expedite approvals
-   Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on application progress
-   Manage file progress from submission through to settlement, including follow-ups on conditions and valuations
-   Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
-   Liaise with BDMs to clarify policy positions and product suitability
-   Conduct post settlement check-ins with clients
-   Support the team with administrative tasks related to loan processing as required

## Requirements

-   Previous experience in an Australian senior loan processing role, credit analyst, or assessor support within mortgage broking or banking
-   Strong understanding of lender credit policies, serviceability tools, and lending guidelines
-   Ability to structure deals accurately prior to submission
-   Understanding of supporting documentation and the ability to identify potential issues early in the process
-   Proven experience reviewing financials, payslips, and tax returns
-   Ability to prepare and package loan applications accurately for submission to lenders
-   Confidence in communicating with clients regarding outstanding documents and application status updates
-   Ability to liaise professionally with banks, BDMs, assessors, solicitors, and other third parties
-   Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently, managing multiple files simultaneously
-   Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
-   Stable work-from-home setup (reliable internet, laptop/desktop, quiet workspace)  
    

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with MyCRM or other LMG Aggregator tools is highly regarded
