**The Opportunity**  
We’re hiring a **Managing General Agent (MGA)** to take a leadership role in building, managing, and growing our insurance operations. You’ll act as a direct extension of ownership—leading a team, driving production, and helping scale the agency the right way.

This role is ideal for someone who is **grounded, experienced, and leads with both strength and integrity**.

## Requirements

**What You’ll Do**

-   Lead, manage, and develop a team of 5–10 on-site agents
-   Oversee sales performance, underwriting, and daily operations
-   Recruit, onboard, and train new agents
-   Build and manage a profitable book of business
-   Coach team members on sales strategies, compliance, and growth
-   Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and accountability tracking
-   Drive a culture of professionalism, respect, and results

**What You Bring**

**Required:**

-   Active insurance license(s)
-   Minimum 3+ years of insurance sales experience
-   Strong understanding of underwriting and agency operations
-   Proven sales performance and ability to hit/exceed targets

**Preferred:**

-   3–5+ years in P&C, Life/Health, or multi-line insurance
-   Prior leadership, mentorship, or team lead experience
-   Experience growing a book of business
-   Strong background in cross-selling and upselling

**Technical Skills**

-   Agency management systems (Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, or similar)
-   CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
-   Carrier portals and quoting tools
