## Description

Avōq is seeking a proactive and motivated coordinator to assist its team of Federal lobbyists with research and writing projects on behalf of Fortune 100 clients, major trade associations, and leading public interest groups.

### WHO YOU ARE

-   You’re interested in government relations, politics, and/or public policy and looking to gain exposure and experience in a fast-paced professional services setting.

### WHAT YOU’LL DO

-   Developing and maintaining a general knowledge of Avoq’s clients and the issues that impact them.
-   Completing legislative, public policy, and other research projects as directed.
-   Coordinating the drafting and production of client publications such as issue alerts and newsletters.
-   Attending hearings and drafting summaries for clients and staff.
-   Reviewing and editing client memos and proposals.
-   Assisting with other compliance matters, fundraisers, and client events.
-   Provide additional support as needed.

## Requirements

### YOUR EXPERIENCE

As a qualified candidate, you have experience in:

-   Internship or entry-level experience on Capitol Hill or in a government affairs setting.
-   Demonstrated interest in politics and public policy.
-   Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
-   Experience with research tools such as Bloomberg, Politico Pro, and Quorum, as well as experience with AI tools and functions.
-   Exceptional attention to detail.
-   Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
-   Eagerness to learn and take direction.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $55,000
