# Epic Radiant Team Lead

## Description

A large academic health system is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Team Lead to oversee a team of six while remaining hands-on with Radiant build and configuration. The role will be approximately 50% team leadership and 50% hands-on technical/build work.

Location: Remote – Must work PST hours

Duration: 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated through 12/31/2027

Pay Rate: $90/hour on W2

Travel: Minimal; approximately 1–2 trips per year for up to one week

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Lead and mentor a team of six.
-   Manage team priorities, workload, escalations, and deliverables.
-   Spend approximately 50% of the role performing hands-on Radiant build, configuration, and technical support.
-   Serve as an escalation point for complex Radiant build and workflow issues.
-   Support ongoing Radiant projects, optimization, testing, upgrades, and production needs.
-   Partner closely with Radiology, clinical stakeholders, IT leadership, and other application teams.
-   Support the broader Cupid rollout where Radiant and Cupid workflows intersect, as needed.
-   Ensure strong communication and coordination across the team and key stakeholders.

## Requirements

**Required Skills & Experience**

-   Current, active Epic Radiant certification required.
-   5+ years of hands-on Epic Radiant experience.
-   Prior experience leading or mentoring a team.
-   Strong hands-on Radiant build, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization experience.
-   Ability to effectively balance team leadership with hands-on technical work.
-   Experience supporting a large, complex health system or academic medical center strongly preferred.
-   Must be available to work PST hours.
-   Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred Skills & Experience**

-   Current Epic Cupid certification.
-   Hands-on Cupid experience, particularly with workflows that intersect with Radiant.
-   Experience supporting a large-scale or multi-hospital Cupid rollout.
