**A DAY IN A LIFE**

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

**Financial Reporting & Compliance**

-   Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
-   Review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
-   Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
-   Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.

**Cash Flow Management**

-   Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and business activities.
-   Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting processes to support financial planning and business decision-making.
-   Monitor cash positions and recommend appropriate actions to optimize working capital.

**Team Leadership & Development**

-   Lead, manage, and develop the finance and accounting team by providing guidance, coaching, and support.
-   Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement culture within the team.

**Taxation**

-   Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, including Corporate Income Tax (PND 50, PND 51), Withholding Tax (PND 3, PND 53), and Value Added Tax (PP.30, PP.36).
-   Oversee and ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
-   Perform reconciliation between tax reports, supporting documents, and General Ledger (GL) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
-   Support Transfer Pricing documentation and compliance with intercompany pricing policies.
-   Identify and manage tax risks that may impact the company’s financial performance or reputation.

**Closing, Reconciliation & Intercompany**

-   Oversee and review account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
-   Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
-   Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper intercompany reconciliation across entities.
-   Coordinate with internal departments, Shared Service Centers, and regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.

**Business Partnering & Process Improvement**

-   Monitor and report financial performance, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
-   Identify process gaps or weaknesses and recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
-   Act as a trusted business partner by providing financial insights, advice, and solutions to stakeholders.
-   Collaborate closely with business and operational leaders to ensure alignment between finance, operations, and long-term business objectives.
-   Work closely with Shared Service Centers and regional finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent financial reporting.
-   Support ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned.

## Requirements

**SKILLS  
**These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role:

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
-   Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
-   Experience in a supervisory or team management role is preferred.
-   Strong understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS or local GAAP).
-   Solid knowledge of taxation, accounting controls, and financial processes.
-   Experience in Oracle ERP system is preferred.
-   Experience working with Shared Service Centers and regional/global finance teams is an advantage.
-   Experience in intercompany accounting and reconciliation is preferred.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to manage multiple stakeholders independently.
-   Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
-   Strong time management and organizational skills.
-   Strong leadership and team player mindset.
-   Good command of English, both written and spoken.
