**A DAY IN A LIFE**

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

**Team Leadership & Supervision:**

-   Conduct daily briefings with sorters to communicate instructions, updates, and safety reminders.
-   Train and mentor sorters, reinforcing best practices and ensuring adherence to company SOPs.
-   Monitor team performance and provide timely feedback or support as needed.

**Parcel Management:**

-   **Receiving Shipments:** Supervise unloading activities and verify parcels against shipping documents.
-   **Scanning:** Oversee scanning of parcels into systems (e.g., Teleportal, Shipsy) to ensure accurate tracking.
-   **Sorting:** Guide the correct sorting of parcels into designated postal cages based on delivery routes.
-   **Failed Parcels:** Manage the failed parcel counter, investigating issues, and documenting discrepancies.
-   **Outbound & Export Shipments:** Assist in preparing parcels for international shipping, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

**Quality & Inventory Control:**

-   Check parcels for damage or inconsistencies; oversee repacking if required.
-   Maintain an orderly and efficient storage area.
-   Support accurate parcel counts and help manage inventory records when needed.

**Operational Efficiency:**

-   Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational KPIs and deadlines.
-   Identify and escalate process gaps or inefficiencies.
-   Ensure parcel handover to drivers is smooth and without delays.

**Safety & Cleanliness:**

-   Enforce safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the hub.
-   Oversee regular cleaning schedules and uphold workplace hygiene standards.
-   Monitor chokepoints outside the warehouse to prevent congestion and ensure

## Requirements

-   No prior work experience required – fresh candidates are welcome to apply.
-   Minimum qualification: GCSE/O Levels or equivalent.
-   No degree required.
-   Proficient in spoken and written English.
-   Willing to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
-   Must be at least 18 years of age.
