Role summary As a Senior Buyer at Terabase Energy, you will lead the procurement strategy for assigned products and services, ensuring the organization secures the best quality materials at optimal prices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with project specifications. This role requires negotiation skills, ability to read part drawings, market awareness, and a strong analytical mindset to achieve cost-saving goals while maintaining supplier relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**

· Directly manage the procurement processes, including placing, tracking, and managing purchase orders for materials and services.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high performance and quality outcomes.

· Understand the technical requirements provided on drawing packages.

· Analyze suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve best value.

· Monitor vendor performance against key performance indicators and address any issues or opportunities for improvement.

· Work with cross-functional teams to align purchasing decisions with overall project goals and budgets.

· Maintain up-to-date records of all purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

## Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications**

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

· 2-5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing or renewable energy sectors.

· Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

· Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

· Experience in supporting manufacturing assembly teams.

· Experience working with engineering teams.

· Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

· Understanding vendor capacity and pipeline.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher) dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The expected salary range for this role is $80,000-90,000 DOE.
