## Description

**TERNA ENERGY,** member of **MASDAR Group,** is seeking a:

**Development & Μ&Α Manager**

**Description:**

Jobholder will be responsible to identify, evaluate, and manage Greenfield and Brownfield development opportunities across Greece and Eastern Europe. S/He will also be responsible to lead and execute M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, storage, and hydro projects.

**Job requirements**

-   Identify, evaluate, and manage acquisition, divestment, and joint venture opportunities that align with the company’s strategic growth goals
-   Ensure seamless transaction execution from origination through to integration
-   Coordinate the licensing, development studies and procurement procedures for the company's RES’s Projects in Greece and abroad
-   Oversee the preparation of the company's Project budget and supports the preparation of the company's Project development business plan
-   Identify & develop acquisition opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments in renewable energy projects and companies, in Greece and Eastern Europe (travelling is anticipated)
-   Lead valuation exercises, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case preparation for potential deals
-   Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes across legal, technical, financial, regulatory, and environmental aspects
-   Negotiate terms, draft transaction documents with legal advisors, and manage closing processes

**Required Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, or Financial and/or Business studies
-   Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Finance/Energy) preferred
-   10+ years’ experience in RES Development
-   5–8 years’ experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development (with exposure to energy/infrastructure)
-   Proven track record in executing transactions in renewables or related sectors
-   Fluent in English
