## Description

**TERNA ENERGY,** member of **MASDAR Group,** is seeking an:

**Internal Auditor**

**Essential functions for the Role**

-   Plans and executes audit engagements, including data analysis and testing, according to the Annual Audit Plan.
-   Evaluates internal control system and ensures adherence to applicable laws.
-   Performs risk assessment and internal control evaluations and detects discrepancies.
-   Prepares and presents audit reports to the Head of Internal Audit.
-   Monitors the implementation of audit recommendations.
-   Stays updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices in internal auditing.  

**Requirements**

-   Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.

-   Master’s Degree in a related field.
-   3 to 5 years of experience in internal auditing.
-   Professional Certification (CIA, CISA, CFE) is required.
-   Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS).
-   Excellent knowledge of English language (both oral and written).
-   Excellent knowledge of ΜS Office applications.
-   Knowledge of using audit management software will be considered as an asset.
