# Designer, Product Development and Merchandising (Graphic / Packaging Design)

## Description

This position will assist the manager in handling the design and development for apparel trims, accessories and packaging.

**Responsibilities:**

-   Conduct trend research and present on design ideas.
-   Provide graphic design, illustration and artwork support to manager for garment trims and accessories, quarterly line review collections and seasonal collections for key customers.
-   Handle sample follow-up from artwork to production.
-   Design and develop product display, visual merchandising for showrooms and visual communication materials
-   Perform ad-hoc duties, projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

## Requirements

-   Higher Diploma or above, preferably in Graphic Design/ Fashion Design/ 3D Design or related disciplines
-   At least 3 years’ experience working within the textile or apparel industry
-   Proficient in design software (e.g. Adobe Design Suite) and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere)
-   Demonstrated experience with 3D design software (e.g. CLO/ Rhino/ 3DMax) is highly preferred
-   Excellent verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
-   Strong communication and time management skills
-   Creative, detail-minded, independent and able to work under pressure
-   Flexible to travel to China frequently
-   Agility and willingness to Learn and Re-Learn
-   Working Location: Shau Kei Wan
-   Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Designer
