We are seeking a **Senior Design Manager** to lead our creative team and shape the future of contemporary smart menswear. Based in Hong Kong or Shanghai, you will translate cultural insights and evolving fashion trends into designs that seamlessly fit our customers’ lifestyles — championing quiet refinement, natural comfort, and effortless performance. ### What you’ll be doing

Collection Design & Strategy

-   Lead the Product Design team in conceptualizing and developing compelling seasonal collections for woven and knit products that embody the brand’s identity while anticipating market trends
-   Conduct in-depth research on fashion trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to drive innovative, relevant design decisions
-   Uphold the highest quality standards across every stage – from initial concept to final product – ensuring every piece reflects excellence in design and craftsmanship

Cross-Functional & Supply Chain Collaboration

-   Partner closely with the Product Development team and our internal vertical supply chain to ensure designs are technically refined, innovative, and production-ready
-   Collaborate with marketing, sales, and merchandising teams to craft cohesive, compelling product stories and powerful go-to-market strategies
-   Prepare and deliver inspiring presentations to stakeholders, clearly articulating your creative vision and strategic rationale

Team Leadership & Financial Management

-   Mentor, inspire, and manage a talented team of designers, fostering a collaborative and creatively charged environment where bold ideas thrive
-   Cultivate strategic and innovative thinking within the team, turning visionary concepts into actionable initiatives that are both creatively excellent and commercially responsible

## Requirements

### Who we are looking for

-   Bachelor’s degree or above in Fashion Design, Textiles, or related disciplines
-   10 years or above of related experience, with at least 5-7 years in a creative managerial role within a corporate environment. Strong track record in developing design vision/themes and overseeing collections from concept through production
-   A standout portfolio that showcases exceptional creativity, technical mastery, and a proven ability to create successful menswear collections
-   Extensive menswear design experience in the APAC region, with deep understanding of the Hong Kong, China, and SEA markets
-   Demonstrated strength in concept development with a distinctive creative vision that aligns with business objectives
-   Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
-   Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting ideas with clarity, conviction, and passion
-   Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and proficiency in Putonghua
-   Business travel is required
-   Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager, Fashion Design
