# Common Sense Media Careers

> <p>Common Sense Media is the nation's leading independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a world of media and technology. Every day, millions of families turn to Common Sense Media for trusted advice and unbiased ratings. We offer the largest library of independent age-based and educational ratings and reviews for everything your kids want to watch, play, read, and learn. Our movie and TV ratings can be found on Netflix, Comcast, DirecTV, and many other partner networks, helping families and kids make smart media choices.  Through our schools program (Common Sense Education), we provide educators with a curriculum that teaches the essential digital-citizenship and literacy skills every student needs to succeed, as well as provide a reviews-and-ratings platform for finding the best edtech tools. More than 70,000 member schools across the country use our ratings, free curricula, and content. <li>Our HR team reviews applications to identify qualified candidates.</li>
<li>Qualified candidates are invited to do a telephone screening.</li>
<li>The most qualified candidates will be invited to an in-person interview. Common Sense typically conducts 2 to 3 rounds of in-person interviews in the hiring process.</li>
<li>References will be solicited from our final candidates. (Please note that some positions will require additional background checks.)</li>
<li>A formal written job offer will be made to our top final candidate.</li>
