## Description

A growing events and experiential agency in Dubai is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Account Director. The role leads major client relationships, oversees high-profile events and contributes directly to the growth of the business.

This is a senior leadership role for an accomplished events professional who combines client management, business development, strategic planning and event delivery with strong commercial accountability. It comes with a structured, performance-based pathway to Chief Operating Officer for the right candidate.

## Requirements

_Experience_

-   10 to 15+ years of experience in event management, experiential or brand activation agencies
-   At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Account Director, Head of Events or similar)
-   Proven track record delivering large-scale corporate and government events in the UAE/GCC
-   Experience managing luxury brand, corporate and government clients
-   Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across accounts, events, production and creative

_Commercial Skills_

-   A demonstrable record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
-   Strong financial management: budgets, P&L, costing and gross profit targets
-   Experienced in leading pitches, proposals and contract negotiations
-   Confident negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial approvals
-   Able to produce accurate revenue forecasts and management reports

_Leadership and Personal Skills_

-   A strategic thinker with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach
-   Excellent communicator, confident presenting to C-level and senior government stakeholders
-   Able to manage multiple high-value events and clients at the same time under pressure
-   Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
-   An entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to grow into a COO role

_Network_

-   An established UAE/GCC client network across corporate, government and luxury sectors
-   Strong relationships within the regional events and supplier community

_Education and Other_

-   Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Hospitality or a related field
-   Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
-   Based in the UAE or willing to relocate immediately
-   Valid UAE driving licence preferred
