## Description

A smart person once said, "Do things you 💙 with people you care about and good things happen", and at BlueRock, we are a growing team who love what we do.

We’re a multidisciplinary advisory firm supporting business owners and investors across law, accounting, finance and wealth. Our growth creates opportunities to take on meaningful work, build your career and contribute to our community through the Be BlueRock Foundation.

**About BlueRock Law**

BlueRock Law is a growing commercial law practice within BlueRock’s multidisciplinary advisory firm. Based in Melbourne’s CBD, we work with a varied client base, including startups, SMEs and national businesses across industries such as property, technology, music and media.

**About the role**

We’re looking for a Commercial Lawyer with around 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience to join our team. You’ll work across a broad range of commercial matters and advise clients on the practical decisions that shape their businesses.

You’ll also work closely with BlueRock’s accountants, finance brokers, financial planners and other specialists. It’s a chance to build strong working relationships across the business while developing your own client relationships and commercial experience.

**What you’ll be doing**

- Drafting and advising on shareholder agreements and other commercial agreements.
- Working on commercial leases, business and asset sales, and general commercial transactions.
- Negotiating contracts and advising clients on commercial risks and options.
- Managing matters from initial advice through to completion.
- Preparing clear, practical advice, correspondence and legal documents.
- Building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues across BlueRock.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver joined-up advice.

- Contributing to a supportive, inclusive and forward-thinking team.

## Requirements

**What you’ll bring**

- 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial law.
- Experience across general commercial transactions, such as shareholder agreements, leases, business or asset sales, and contract negotiation.
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
- A practical, client-focused approach and the confidence to manage matters.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- A genuine interest in working collaboratively and growing your commercial practice.

## Benefits

We want our people to do great work and have a life outside it. Here are a few things you can expect at BlueRock:

- A hybrid working model, with flexibility to work in the office and remotely.
