We are looking for awesome, self-driven nurse (RPN or RN) to work in Whitby, ON (Client #1) and Ajax, ON (Client #2). We have two lovely clients who are looking for services in these areas.

**Shift**

-   Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays 10am-6pm - **DAYS**
-   Alternating Fridays 9pm-7am and ongoing Saturdays 9pm-7am - **NIGHTS**

**Clinical Skill Set**

-   Experience with trach and vent clients an asset; willing to train
-   Experience with cough assist, respiratory monitoring, g-tube care.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

-   Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.
-   Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a nurse
-   Assists clients in all activities of daily living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth.
-   Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
-   Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly.
-   Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description.
-   Completes records and documents accurately and thoroughly.

## Requirements

-   An asset if you own vehicle and have a valid driver's licence (not required)
-   Negative TB Test completed within the last year
-   CNO Registration and nursing Certificate
-   COVID Vaccination Receipts subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
-   Valid Criminal Record Check - must be completed within the last year.
-   Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
-   Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
