## Description

**The Greenridge Group** is a **prime contractor and consulting firm** specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced **Structural Engineer / QA/QC Technical Reviewer** to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Review structural plans and specifications for LAUSD construction projects.
-   Perform **QA/QC, constructability, and peer reviews** during design and construction.
-   Review structural designs for compliance with District standards, applicable building codes, and safety requirements.
-   Provide detailed technical comments and recommendations to architects, engineers, Design Managers, OARs, and Inspectors.
-   Review structural standards, specifications, product substitutions, and proposed deviations from District standards.
-   Support updates to LAUSD design guidelines, technical specifications, and structural standards.
-   Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, District personnel, and public agencies.

## Requirements

**Minimum Qualifications**

-   **10+ years of full-time professional experience** in structural engineering planning, design, and construction of **educational facilities**.
-   Bachelor’s degree in **Structural Engineering or a related field**. Additional qualifying experience may substitute for up to two years of the educational requirement.
-   **Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license – required.**
-   Strong knowledge of K-12 school construction, structural systems, building codes, and DSA requirements.
-   Experience performing QA/QC, constructability, and/or peer reviews.
-   Ability to prepare clear technical comments, reports, standards, and specifications.
-   **California Structural Engineer (SE) license is highly preferred.**
