## Description

**The Greenridge Group** is a **prime contractor and consulting firm** specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking a **Public Outreach Specialist I** to support a major airport modernization and construction program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This position will assist with community outreach, stakeholder communications, public notifications, and coordination of outreach activities related to airport roadway and infrastructure improvement projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Assist with public outreach and stakeholder engagement activities for airport construction projects.
-   Prepare and distribute construction notices, traffic advisories, project updates, and community notifications.
-   Respond to and track public inquiries, comments, and concerns.
-   Coordinate community meetings, public events, workshops, and stakeholder briefings.
-   Develop presentations, fact sheets, newsletters, and other communication materials.
-   Support website updates, social media content, and stakeholder contact databases.
-   Maintain outreach records, communication logs, and project reports.
-   Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and community stakeholders.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
-   Experience in public outreach, communications, public relations, or community engagement.
-   Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
-   Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website content management systems, and social media platforms.
-   Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

**Preferred Experience**

-   Public outreach or communications experience supporting public-sector, transportation, aviation, infrastructure, or construction projects.
-   Experience coordinating community meetings and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
