## Description

**The Greenridge Group** is a **prime contractor and consulting firm** specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.

We are seeking an experienced **Project Engineer III** to support the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) on its bond-funded construction and capital improvement projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented construction professional with strong experience in **change order management, construction documentation, and project coordination** to contribute to significant educational facility improvements across Los Angeles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Review and process construction Change Orders (CO), Field Orders (FO), and supporting contractual documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
-   Track and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and construction documentation throughout design, pre-bid, and construction phases.
-   Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO), District Facilities, Planning and Development (FPD), design teams, and construction teams to facilitate timely reviews and approvals.
-   Maintain accurate change order logs, tracking reports, and electronic project records.
-   Review construction drawings, plans, and related documents to support project coordination and change management.
-   Monitor change order status, identify potential delays, and help resolve outstanding issues.
-   Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reports and meeting minutes.
-   Participate in project coordination meetings with stakeholders and construction management teams.
-   Support project closeout activities, documentation reviews, and lessons-learned reporting.
-   Ensure construction documentation and change order processes follow established procedures.

## Requirements

### Minimum Qualifications

-   **7+ years of professional experience** in construction project engineering, construction management, or a closely related role.
-   Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related qualifying discipline.

-   An additional four years of qualifying experience beyond the seven-year minimum may substitute for the degree.

-   Experience reviewing construction documents, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
-   Experience using Bluebeam and Adobe software for document reviews and markups.
-   Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with project stakeholders, and work effectively within a team.

### Preferred Qualifications

-   Experience supporting **public-sector, educational facility, or large-scale capital improvement projects**.
-   Strong experience preparing, reviewing, and tracking construction Change Orders and supporting documentation.
-   Experience with tenant improvement and renovation projects.
-   Experience managing documentation across multiple concurrent construction projects.
-   Familiarity with construction project management information systems (PMIS), such as Prolog, Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder), or Proliance.
-   Experience with Adobe Acrobat Sign or electronic document approval workflows.
