We are currently seeking an experienced **Okta IAM Consultant** to join a high-profile enterprise engagement supporting identity transformation initiatives and SaaS application onboarding projects.

This opportunity will suit a consultant who enjoys working at the forefront of Identity and Access Management, cloud technologies and automation.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions with a primary focus on Okta and Infrastructure as Code practices.

Working within a mature enterprise environment, you will be responsible for onboarding applications into Okta, configuring identity integrations, automating deployments through Terraform, and ensuring security best practices are maintained across the organisation's IAM ecosystem.

## Requirements

Key Responsibilities

-   Configure, administer and support Okta environments
-   Lead SaaS application onboarding and identity integration activities
-   Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
-   Implement and support SAML, OIDC and SCIM integrations
-   Troubleshoot authentication, authorisation and federation issues
-   Collaborate with internal stakeholders, application owners and project teams
-   Ensure IAM solutions align with security, governance and compliance requirements
-   Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the identity platform
-   Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess hands-on experience delivering enterprise IAM solutions and have a strong understanding of modern identity technologies.

You will bring:

-   Strong experience administering and supporting **Okta**
-   Proven experience with **Terraform** and Infrastructure as Code
-   Experience implementing **SAML, OIDC and SCIM** integrations
-   Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management principles
-   Experience onboarding SaaS applications into enterprise IAM platforms
-   Knowledge of authentication, federation and provisioning technologies
-   Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
-   Ability to work independently within enterprise environments

Desirable Skills

The following experience would be highly regarded:

-   Okta certifications
-   Privileged Access Management (PAM)
-   Azure AD / Entra ID
-   Identity governance and administration solutions
-   Cloud security architecture
-   Enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards

-   Melbourne-based preferred
