The Peelle Company is a family owned and managed Manufacturer and Installer of Elevator Doors. Peelle was founded in 1905 by Caleb Peelle in New York. Throughout our history we have strived to provide the highest quality doors backed by responsive customer service and support. The Peelle Brand is known throughout the world for robust doors serving an important elevator industry niche.
Our core historical product line is the vertical bi-parting freight elevator door, of which we are the largest manufacturer in the world. In 2016, we launched our passenger elevator door line, which has rapidly grown into a major factor in the US market. While a US corporation, Peelle’s manufacturing facility is in Brampton, Ontario, where we employ approximately 100 employees. Peelle has a significant presence in the US with a small facility in the NY area supporting our installation operations along with a traveling US based sales team.
Peelle has sold doors to just about every country in the world. Even so, core markets are the US and Canada. Peelle has been blessed with very low turnover and stable union relationships, essential elements where experience is a key factor in this highly specialized product niche. Peelle is one of the few 4th (and now 5th) generation companies where employees remain until retirement.
With the introduction of our passenger door line and the emergence of a 5th generation of Peelle leadership, our goal is to grow the organization. We seek candidates looking for a stable environment in a challenging industry that want to become part of the team.
