### The Position

### Personal Banker responsibilities include:

-   Responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts and assisting customers with bookkeeping and checking account problems efficiently and effectively at all times.
-   The position encompasses a working knowledge of processing all Individual Retirement Accounts.
-   Answers customers questions regarding Bank services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance.
-   Cross sells services and performs related receptionist and secretarial functions as required.
-   Assists or refers customers with any and all questions or problems that arise during the course of business.
-   Attends to all telephone inquiries and transactions for customers.
-   All other duties as it relates to this position and assigned.

### You also bring the following skills and experience:

-   High school diploma or equivalent.
-   1-3 years experience in banking, sales and/or customer service. Consumer lending experience is a plus.
-   Sales orientation with the ability to meet specific monthly and annual sales goals while delivering service excellence.
-   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-   Ability to identify customer needs and develop creative, workable solutions and provide problem resolution to satisfy the customer.
-   Professional, thorough and organized with strong follow-up skills.
-   Familiarity with the local financial marketplace to address customer inquiries.
-   Ability to use computer software and embrace technology.
