### **Job Details**

TheraPeds Partners is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide school-based services for the 2026–2027 school year in Lakewood, Colorado, and throughout the Jefferson County (Jeffco) School District. Multiple full-time openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school campuses. In this collaborative role, you'll provide speech-language therapy, complete evaluations, support IEP development, monitor student progress, and partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve meaningful communication success. Additional part-time opportunities are also available throughout the district.

-   Flexible schedule of **28–38 hours per week**
-   2026–2027 school year (August through May/June)
-   On-site, in-person assignment

-   Positions serving students in:

-   Kindergarten through 5th grade
-   Kindergarten through 8th grade
-   Grades 8–12

### **Primary Responsibilities**

-   Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.
-   Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify strengths, needs, and eligibility for services.
-   Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with school teams.
-   Manage assigned caseloads while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with special education requirements.
-   Consult regularly with teachers, families, and related service providers to support communication goals across school environments.
-   Track student progress, analyze outcomes, and adjust treatment plans to maximize success.
-   Collaborate with therapists, educators, administrators, and caregivers to provide coordinated, student-centered care.

### **Qualifications**

-   Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
-   Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure)
-   ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, where applicable
-   School-based or pediatric experience is preferred
-   Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
-   Passion for helping students develop the communication skills needed for academic and lifelong success

-   **$65–$80+ per hour**, based on experience
-   **Approximately $1,495–$1,840+ per week**, depending on assigned schedule

## Requirements

**Qualifications**

-   Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
-   State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
-   Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
-   National License: ASHA 
-   Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
-   CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
-   CF-SLP placement may be available
-   Experience working with children
-   Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
-   Organizational and time management skills
-   Proficient in use of technology
-   Fingerprint background clearance
-   Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

**Physical Requirements**

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, **while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.**
