> Theta · Auckland, New Zealand (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-05-14

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Project Delivery

## Description

We are a highly regarded, New Zealand owned technology company. We offer a creative and stimulating work environment and we value and respect inclusivity and diversity.

**About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi**

Are you early in your People & Culture career and ready to grow? Do you love being organised, getting the details right, and helping create a great experience for people at work? If you’re curious about HR, enjoy admin and coordination, and want to learn in a supportive team, this could be a great next step.

You’ll join our small, friendly People & Culture team in Auckland, and take ownership of the day-to-day coordination and administration that supports our people across their employee journey – from onboarding and induction through to learning, engagement, reporting, HR systems, purchase orders and offboarding. You’ll work closely with our Head of Delivery, People & Talent Lead, payroll, managers and teams across the business, with guidance and support where needed.

Over time, you’ll become our go-to person for our HRIS platform (ELMO), while also supporting employee records, employment documentation, training coordination, P&C initiatives and people-related reporting. If you’re passionate about people, love good admin, and want to grow your People & Culture career in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.

**Skills and experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako**

- A completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1–2 years’ experience in HR, People & Culture, recruitment, administration, coordination or a related role.
- An interest in HR and some understanding of New Zealand employment law.
- A genuine passion for supporting people across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning, engagement, performance and offboarding.
- Experience with, or confidence learning, HRIS systems and software; experience with ELMO would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Practical analytical skills, with the ability to work with people-related data and spot trends.
- A proactive, curious and enthusiastic approach, with the confidence to use initiative and ask questions.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and collaboration skills.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, solve problems and meet deadlines.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and GenAI tools, with the ability to pick up new systems and contribute to improving processes.
