## Description

The Tsui Group is seeking a candidate who is qualified and experienced in educational facility construction projects to serve as a Scheduler V - Lead Scheduler for a large educational client within Los Angeles County with the below duties:

-   Support Program Controls leadership with planning, development, monitoring, and control of program-wide project schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, project objectives, and key program milestones.
-   Develop, maintain, and update baseline, master, and detailed project schedules, incorporating approved scope, activities, logic relationships, constraints, milestones, calendars, resources, and cost information.
-   Coordinate with cost, estimating, risk management, program management, design, and college construction teams to maintain alignment between schedule, cost, risk, and overall program performance.
-   Monitor and document construction progress against approved baseline schedules; validate reported progress through schedule reviews, field observations and site visits as required.
-   Review contractor schedule submittals for compliance with standard operating procedures, contract requirements, schedule specifications, approved baselines, logic, critical path methodology, milestones, and reporting requirements.
-   Perform schedule QA/QC, including detailed review of critical paths, activity relationships, constraints, calendars, milestones, float, cost/resource loading, coding structures, and schedule integrity.
-   Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA), delay analysis, and detailed investigations of schedule impacts to determine effects on critical activities, contractual milestones, and overall project completion.
-   Identify, track, and communicate schedule risks, construction issues, conflicts, and potential delays; support development and evaluation of recovery and mitigation strategies.
-   Serve as a key liaison among contractors, designers, construction project leadership team, project controls, and program leadership on schedule-related issues and resolution strategies.
-   Develop and maintain complex resource-and cost-loaded program schedules to support Critical Path analysis, Earned Value Management, cash-flow forecasting, resource planning, and broader project/program management reporting.
-   Lead schedule-focused discussions during weekly progress meetings, schedule reviews, and stakeholder sessions, communicating current performance, critical activities, emerging risks, and required corrective actions.
-   Prepare project schedule performance reports and status updates highlighting baseline variance, critical path changes, milestone performance, forecast completion dates, delays, risks, and recovery actions.
-   Conduct regular QA/QC reviews of program and master schedules to verify schedule integrity consistency, coding standards, data accuracy, and alignment across projects.
-   Maintain program-level scheduling standards, coding structures, processes, tools, and data integrity while supporting continuous improvement of scheduling practices and controls.
-   Collaborate with program teams to establish and implement scheduling standards, best practices, templates, procedures, and tools across multiple projects.
-   Support development of schedule-related presentations, technical materials, lessons learned, and continuous-improvement initiatives; contribute to internal and external presentations, conferences, and technical publications as appropriate.
-   Lead step-by-step onboarding for new construction project team schedulers.
-   Supervise daily work of construction project team schedules.
-   Provide back-up support during construction project team scheduler absences.
-   Perform other duties as required.

## Requirements

**Minimum Required Qualifications:** 

-   15 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs 
-   Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or Construction Management.
-   Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis. 
-   Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
-   Experience with cost and resource loaded schedules.
-   Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
-   Strong understanding of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, and schedule forensics.
-   Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
-   Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, Provel ability to foster collaboration across diverse project teams.
-   Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties. 

**Preferred Qualifications:** 

-   AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification
-   PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
