This is a focused tutoring role for someone who can help a bright student strengthen her math skills while also developing the organization, study habits, and executive functioning skills that become increasingly important in middle school. You’ll meet with the student **twice per week for one-hour sessions, with sessions between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM (Monday-Thursday),** providing a combination of academic support and practical strategies she can carry into her day-to-day schoolwork. This is a great fit for an educator who enjoys the impact of 1:1 teaching and knows how to balance encouragement with clear structure and accountability. ### Student Profile You’ll be working with a bright middle-school student who would benefit from additional support navigating the academic and organizational demands of middle school. The primary focus will be **math and executive functioning**, but this is a well-rounded academic support role. You should also be comfortable helping with **English language arts, science, and social studies**, including homework, studying, test preparation, and keeping up with day-to-day coursework.
