## Description

### **Job Purpose:**

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project activities, materials, and deliverables comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements. The role involves developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement across all project phases.

### Responsibilities:

-   Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
-   Prepare and update Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality control procedures, and method statements.
-   Conduct site/factory inspections at key stages (material receipt, in-process, and final inspection) to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
-   Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and subcontractor quality documentation.
-   Witness and coordinate third-party inspections, testing, and certifications as required.
-   Identify non-conformances, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
-   Conduct internal audits and support external/client audits; prepare audit reports and follow up on findings.
-   Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and traceability documentation.
-   Liaise with project management, engineering, procurement, and site teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
-   Support root cause analysis for recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements.
-   Ensure compliance with client specifications, codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, BS, EN) and statutory/regulatory requirements.
-   Conduct training and toolbox talks to promote quality awareness among site/production personnel.
-   Compile quality metrics/KPIs and prepare periodic quality performance reports for management.

## Requirements

**Education requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).

**Certification Requirements:** ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification (preferred).

**Experience:** 3–8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, manufacturing.

**Languages:** Arabic (Fluent), English (Professional).

**Technical Skills:**

-   Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements and documentation.
-   Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
-   Knowledge of material testing methods.
