About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of our building systems and infrastructure

Core Responsibilities:

-   Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting
-   Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and ensure a safe working environment
-   Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to the maintenance schedule.
-   Perform weekly and monthly inspections on different equipment
-   Troubleshoot mechanical problems; you will visually check, test, and evaluate the condition of components and equipment
-   Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
-   Maintain accurate recordkeeping
-   Perform all maintenance duties, such as PM dock equipment, PM air conditioners, repair restroom fixtures, and maintenance of all buildings.
-   Other related duties as assigned

## Requirements

Qualifications:

-   High School Diploma or GED preferred.
-   Minimum two years of related experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
-   Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
-   Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
-   Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
-   Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
-   Willingness to follow all safety procedures and site policies
-   Must be able to be on call after hours and weekends

Physical Requirements:

-   Work is performed in a variety of settings.
-   Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and at times subject to stooping, crawling, and climbing.
-   Routine exposure to hazardous chemicals, inclement weather, and/or varying temperatures.
-   May need to lift heavy objects of up to 50 pounds.
-   Able to climb ladders and stairs and stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
