## Description

Our client, a Global Healthcare and Crop Science Innovation company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to provide essential support to their team in the Laboratory. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately recording, verifying, and maintaining laboratory data while supporting quality control processes to ensure reliable test results, compliance with laboratory procedures, and proper documentation of samples, records, and reports.

This position is based in a laboratory environment and may require handling records, sample logs, and routine coordination with laboratory technicians, analysts, and quality staff. The role requires adherence to laboratory safety procedures and quality management systems at all times.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Enter laboratory test results, sample details, and other relevant information into the laboratory information system or data registers accurately and on time.
-   Verify data for completeness, correctness, and consistency before submission or filing.
-   Maintain proper records for samples received, tested, stored, and disposed of according to laboratory procedures.
-   Reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
-   Prepare routine laboratory reports, summaries, and filing of quality control documentation.
-   Ensure all records are updated, traceable, and easily retrievable for audits and inspections.
-   Work closely with laboratory staff and quality personnel to resolve missing, unclear, or incorrect data.

## Requirements

-   A Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
-   Microsoft Office Suite Certification with a strong suite in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
-   A minimum of a Full Grade 12 Certificate (5 O' Levels)
-   Strong knowledge or background in Agronomy / Agriculture.
-   Ability to accurately review, correct, and input information without errors.
-   A strict understanding of data and information confidentiality/security protocols
-   Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
-   Good communication and teamwork abilities.
