## Description

Total Resourcing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled **Construction Manager – Electrical & I&C (Refurbishment)** to lead and manage electrical and instrumentation & control construction activities within major refurbishment projects.

In this role, you will oversee all on-site construction operations related to electrical and I&C disciplines, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver refurbishment projects on schedule and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical and I&C construction activities on refurbishment projects.
-   Manage and lead subcontractors and craft personnel to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
-   Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, project specifications, and procedures.
-   Collaborate closely with project teams including engineering, quality assurance, and safety personnel.
-   Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
-   Prepare and present regular reports on schedule, cost, quality, and safety to project management.
-   Drive continuous improvement and best practices in construction execution.

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Experience:**

-   Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
-   Minimum 10 years’ experience managing electrical and I&C construction projects, preferably in nuclear refurbishment or heavy industrial environments.
-   Proven leadership skills with experience managing large teams and subcontractors on-site.
-   Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation & control installation practices and safety requirements.
-   Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in construction activities.
-   Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-   Familiarity with refurbishment project processes, especially within nuclear sectors, is highly desirable.
-   Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving project conditions.
