## Description

Total Resourcing Ltd is looking for an experienced **Construction Manager – Civil** to join our client. As the Construction Manager for Civil works, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all civil construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

You will oversee on-site operations, manage subcontractors, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in driving the successful delivery of civil construction projects, including infrastructure and refurbishment works.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Plan, organize, and direct civil construction activities on site.
-   Manage subcontractors and construction crews to ensure quality workmanship and safety.
-   Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
-   Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-   Monitor project progress and report on schedule, costs, and performance.
-   Identify and resolve any issues or delays impacting the civil construction work.
-   Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

## Requirements

**Qualifications and Experience:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
-   Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil construction management, preferably within nuclear or industrial sectors.
-   Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards within Nuclear.
-   Proven ability to manage large teams and subcontractors on-site.
-   Experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control of civil construction projects.
-   Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
-   Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the project.
-   Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs.
-   Previous CANDU Refurbishment experience would be of interest.
