**Job Title:** Business Intelligence Developer

**Location:** New York, New Jersey, Remote

**Department:** Data Analytics

**Reports To:** Data Analytics Manager

**Job Summary:** The Business Intelligence Developer is a key player in transforming data into insights that drive business value. With a strong foundation in Python and MySQL, you will develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI interfaces, including query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, performance scorecards, and advanced analytics reports.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Develop and maintain **Python** scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
-   Perform data cleansing and preparation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
-   Utilize **MySQL** for data manipulation and to implement complex business logic.
-   Design and develop metrics and calculations within **MySQL**.
-   Containerize the Python application using **Docker** for consistent deployment.
-   Deploy and manage applications in the **Azure Cloud** environment using **Azure DevOps pipelines**.
-   Use **Git** for version control and collaboration with the development team.
-   Create dynamic and interactive reports and dashboards in **Power BI**.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
-   Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with a focus on data-related tasks.
-   Experience with Docker containerization and Azure cloud deployments.
-   Proficiency in Power BI for developing reports and dashboards.
-   Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
-   Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
-   Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Nice to Have:**

-   Experience with latest Ai tools applicable to the role
-   Experience with data warehouse technologies and ETL tools.
-   Knowledge of Azure solutions and services.
-   Advanced Excel skills for report generation and data analysis.
