**Job Title: Sr. SAP Basis Administrator**

**Location: Remote Work**

**Type: Long Term Contract**

**Rate: $Open /hr.**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Senior SAP Basis Administrator** to support a secure, enterprise-level SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering SAP environments, working in highly regulated environments, and supporting mission-critical systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
-   Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patches, system copies, kernel upgrades, and refreshes.
-   Manage SAP transports and system configurations across development, QA, and production environments.
-   Troubleshoot and resolve SAP Basis-related issues in a timely manner.
-   Work closely with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to ensure system stability and compliance.
-   Implement SAP performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
-   Support disaster recovery planning, backup, and recovery processes.
-   Maintain technical documentation and adhere to change management processes.
-   Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices.

## Requirements

-   10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience.
-   Strong experience supporting complex SAP landscapes.
-   Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
-   Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and related SAP technologies.
-   Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
-   Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and system performance optimization.
-   Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Active **Top Secret Clearance** preferred.
-   Experience with cloud-hosted SAP environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
-   SAP Basis certification is preferred.
