# Tech Will Save Us Careers

> <p><strong>Tech Will Save Us is an award-winning, innovative, edtech startup which provides fluid online and offline learning experiences for kids. Our mission is for every child to realise they can re-shape the world and equip them with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century. </strong></p><p>Our play-led, digital home learning system is designed to encourage creativity and learning throughout childhood while sparking an interest in science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM). We started in 2012, packing kits on a kitchen table and have now helped over 1.2 million children create with tech across 97 countries!</p><p>We’ve collaborated with Google, Code Club, The Prince’s Trust, and the BBC to create the micro:bit—a pocket sized computer designed for kids to invent with and was given to 1M kids and is now used in over 40 countries. Most recently we’ve partnered with Disney to produce an exclusive STEAM toy for Marvel’s The Avengers.</p><p>We’re a growing team of parents, aunts, uncles, big sisters and brothers, marketers, designers, production specialists, financiers and content producers united by our goal to empower kids to create using technology and make their world a better place. We’re an international bunch, historically coming from over 12 different nationalities and 5 different continents.
