## Description

_**Experienced Security & Data Engineer**_

_Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 p.a. + company van + healthcare + pension_

_Location: Field-based (UK South East / South Central preferred)_

_Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent_

_Role Overview_

_We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security & Data Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience installing and commissioning electronic security and structured cabling systems. You’ll take ownership of taking project install from start to finish, manage first-fix subcontractors or trainees, and deliver work to the highest standards of safety and professionalism._

_Key Responsibilities_

_•             Installation, servicing, and commissioning of CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, Intercom, and Data Cabling systems_

_•             Oversee and support assistant engineers or subcontractors during project delivery_

_•             Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards and customer specifications_

_•             Conduct site surveys, produce as-fitted documentation, and liaise with clients professionally, including training on the systems_

_•             Work autonomously or as part of a wider project team_

_•             Provide technical input for ongoing system improvements and learn new technologies_

_Requirements_

_**•          Experience within a security systems company**_

_•             Proven experience with systems such as_ _**Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, Avigilon, Gallagher, Urmet, 2N, NX.**_

_•             Strong fault-finding, cabling, commissioning and general practical skills_

_•             Full UK driving licence and permission to work in UK_

_•             BS7858 vetting and enhanced DBS clearance required (or eligibility to obtain)_

_•             Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills_

_Desirable_

_•             Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers_

_•             IP networking and fibre termination knowledge_

_•             ECS/CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA certification_
