**Logistics Manager**

Thetford, Norfolk  
Monday to Friday – 08.00am – 16.30 – Office based.  

**Lead. Improve. Deliver.**

We're looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to take ownership of a fast-paced transport and delivery operation, leading a team of around 15 people and ensuring customers receive an exceptional service every time.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven logistics professional who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and making a real impact. You'll oversee fleet operations, delivery performance, compliance and customer satisfaction, while helping shape the future of a growing and ambitious business.  
  

**What You'll Be Doing**

-   Leading and developing drivers and logistics teams
-   Managing fleet performance, maintenance and vehicle compliance
-   Driving delivery efficiency, service improvements and cost control
-   Ensuring deliveries are completed in full and on time
-   Building strong relationships with customers and third-party carriers
-   Overseeing health & safety and transport compliance standards
-   Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance

## Requirements

-   Proven experience in logistics, transport or distribution management

-   Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment
-   Strong understanding of fleet management, delivery operations and route planning
-   Commercial awareness with a focus on performance and continuous improvement
-   A proactive, hands-on leadership style
-   Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-   Knowledge of transport compliance and health & safety requirements
-   Experience using logistics, transport management or ERP systems
-   Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
-   Resilient and calm under pressure
