## Requirements

**Technical Skills:**

-   At least 6 months experience working (new graduate is ok but must be IT/related course graduate)
-   Willing to work on shifts for a 24/7 operation work
-   MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
-   Unix and VB scripting is a plus

Responsibilities:

-   Diagnosis and trouble-shooting of batch processing errors
-   Ad hoc scheduling of batch jobs in case of reruns
-   Investigation of exceptional batch processing behavior
-   Coordination of ad hoc batch processing requests from other Core Banking Track and Team Leads
-   Supports batch operations effeciently by adherence to the following tasks and reporting status to Shift Supervisor:

1.  reviewing the daily operations schedule and any requested special processing.
2.  Monitoring of computer consoles.
3.  Monitoring execution of scheduled batch jobs.
4.  Investigating possible causes of prolonged execution of jobs or unreleased/pending jobs.
5.  Investigating possible causes of premature termination of batch jobs.
6.  Resolving production problems in coordination with applications support.
7.  Restaging jobs that encountered problems.
8.  Maintaining logs of operations activities and encountered production problems.

-   Assists Batch Operations Track Lead / Shift Supervisor by:

1.  Reviewing and executing batch processing changes due to new system implementations.
2.  Recommending enhancements for a faster and more efficient batch processing.
3.  Writing/updating unix/shell scripts.
