**Position Overview:**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated **Process Engineer** to join our dynamic **Research & Development** team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development, optimization, scale-up, and transfer of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, supporting the successful introduction of new products and the continuous improvement of existing formulations.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Engineering departments to ensure robust, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes throughout the product lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Participate in the development and optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
-   Support process scale-up activities from laboratory and pilot scale to commercial manufacturing.
-   Contribute to technology transfer projects between development and production environments.
-   Design, execute, analyze, and document process development studies and trials.
-   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and process implementation.
-   Support process validation activities and preparation of validation protocols and reports.
-   Investigate process-related challenges and propose scientifically sound solutions.
-   Analyze process data and identify opportunities for process optimization, robustness, and efficiency improvements.
-   Prepare technical documentation, development reports, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
-   Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, company procedures, and regulatory expectations.
-   Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects.
-   Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to pharmaceutical process development.

**Essential Qualifications:**

-   Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
-   Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Process Engineering, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
-   Previous experience in pharmaceutical R&D, process development, formulation development, or manufacturing science will be considered an asset.
-   Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
-   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Strong organizational and project management abilities.
-   Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
-   Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
-   Excellent command of the Greek & English language (both oral & written).
-   Scientific mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

-   Experience with technology transfer and process validation activities.
-   Familiarity with risk assessment tools and statistical data analysis.
-   Knowledge of pharmaceutical dosage forms, including solid, liquid, and semi-solid products.
-   Experience working within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
